"Growers Helping Growers"
The Central Wisconsin Pumpkin Growers started as group of giant pumpkin growers in central Wisconsin in 1984, and grew to become a non-profit organization with members across the entire state, and even a few from other states. In 2009, club members voted to change the group's name to the Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin Growers to better represent the geography of the membership.

WGPG News
Winter is Upon Us!
Hope everyone is keeping warm in another chilly Wisconsin winter! Winter is a good time to plan improvements for next year's growing season, construct things like hoophouses, compost tea brewers, etc. It's also a great time to catch up with other giant pumpkin growers and attend the annual International Giant Vegetable Growers Convention in Niagara Falls. This year it's March 12th - 14th. You can get more info by calling 1-800-387-3456 or link to their pdf file for info.
Website
The Central Wisconsin Pumpkin Growers' website will be transitioning to reflect our new name, Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin Growers. Eventually the website will be at a new web address to reflect the name change, but for now we will still be located here at cwpg.org.
