To become a WGPG member, download the membership form and send it to the address given on the form. 

The annual membership fee for joining the Wisconsin Giant Pumpkin Growers is $25 for a household membership.  Memberships must be postmarked by June 1 to be eligible for member benefits. 

As a member, you receive:

Informative club newsletters

Reduced entry fees for fruit at WGPG hosted weigh offs

Annual club seed distribution  - this includes seeds from the previous years fruit produced by the members.  We encourage all members to control their crosses and contribute as many seeds as possible to the club for this annually exchange

Invitations to all club events - seminars, patch tours/picnics, business meetings, and of course weigh offs in the fall. 

---Every spring, we have our annual spring meeting, where new pumpkin growers can come learn how to grow giant pumpkins and get involved with the club. 

---In the summer, we usually have a patch tour and picnic, where we visit pumpkin patches in Wisconsin to see what everyone has growing, and talk about pumpkins! 

---Each growing season culminates in the fall with the annual weigh offs. 

----Winter is spent getting ready for the following year.  We often have a winter meeting if there's important issues going on that are best discussed as a club. 

Last but certainly not least, access to the “growers helping growers” philosophy among the membership. You will get updated member lists with contact information for all members and are encouraged to ask questions, exchange ideas, and growing tips.

It is not just all about growing pumpkins!  It's about making friends, learning, and having fun as well.
